Abstract Title: Faculty as Standardized Patients: An Innovative Approach to Simulation in Nurse Practitioner Education
Biography: Sandhya Nadadur is an assistant professor and co-program director of the MS FNP Program at Lehman College, City University of New York. She completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York in 2020, MS in FNP at Pace University, New York in 1997 and BSc in Nursing at University of Delhi, India. Her area of interest includes medication management in chronic diseases. She published her scholarly work on improving medication adherence for people with diabetes. Currently, she is working on integrating simulation into the NP curriculum and developing evaluation tools for competency-based education.
